This is a social group for young Catholics which meets every month. Contact Miles on 07790 441242. Their next social evening is on Saturday, 5th May from 7.30pm at The Hope, Wandsworth Common, SW17 7EG.
Congratulations to Frank and Lily Mendonça who celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on 23rd April. We wish them and their family every blessing on such a great occasion. The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) come into effect on 25th May 2018. They will replace the current Data Protection legislation. Anyone (at St. Teresa’s) holding hard-copy personal data on parishioners – readers, musicians, lay ministers, young people, Legion of Mary, SVP, PPC, etc. should return it to the parish office and sign a declaration to confirm this to act as evidence in case of a data breach. Please do not ignore this. Today the Lord continues to call others to follow him. We should not wait to be perfect in order to respond with our generous “yes”, nor be fearful of our limitations and sins, but instead open our hearts to the voice of the Lord. To listen to that voice, to discern our personal mission in the Church and the world, and at last to live it in the today that God gives us. Pope Francis Thank you for your support to our Lent Fast Day appeal. Donations to CAFOD until 12 May will be doubled by the UK Government. We have planned a £5 million programme to combat malnutrition – and with it we hope to be able to reach 245,000 people. But we need the full amount of match funding to make it happen. You can help us reach the full amount needed for this crucial programme. We still have some way to go yet! To donate, please go to cafod.org.uk/lent. |
