He offers us a new beginning, a new creation, through the Holy Spirit – as we saw at the First Pentecost – a whole new life is possible. We have seen at the First Pentecost – a whole new life is possible. We have seen the difference He made to the Apostles. Will we allow Him to do the same for us? Lord, we continue to remember Fr. John in our prayers and we commend his soul to your mercy. Over recent months our parish has also said good-bye to long and faithful servants in this parish. We lift them up to you in prayer and also your families who have also lost loved ones, some in tragic circumstances. They were sealed with the Holy Spirit, and one and all followed the light of Christ. May they rest in peace and rise in glory. Eucharistic Congress: God be in my heart and in my thinking. When my heart is full of your love, every though becomes to fulfil your will.
