From 18 -25th January. These days provided us all with the opportunity to pray for (and with) some of the local Christian Churches in our area.
We wish you every blessing as we begin another new year. St. Teresa’s has much to celebrate in the great diversity of gifts, talents and culture that make up our community. We are grateful for such a rich tapestry of life here in Morden and realise how much we can all learn from each other. Undoubtedly, the New Year will have many surprises, disappointments, joys and sorrows, but the Gospel remains at the centre of our community. The world will ensure a loaded agenda with numerous voices claiming our attention. However, it is God’s Kingdom we seek to build. May the infant Jesus continue to light our way and may we have the courage to hear his voice in the days and months ahead.
To all those involved in our Christmas celebrations: readers, musicians, singers, servers, church cleaners, special ministers and collectors. Special appreciation to all the singers who went around some of the wards at St. Helier Hospital just before Christmas. Thanks to Tom Malone for the Crib, Paul & Rachael Carter for the Christmas Tree and Primrose and Maria & their team for the flowers. It is a lot of work but Christmas is a very special event.
To everyone for your generous Christmas offerings, cards, gifts and good wishes received over the Christmas days. Your kindness and thoughtfulness is deeply appreciated.
