For year 9 and above. Introduction session and sign up for parents and candidates will be held on Saturday, 4th February at 11.00am. Application forms will only be given at this session. This years programme will include attendance to Flame at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 11th March. All to attend. Catechists only to meet on Wednesday, 11th January at 7.30pm in the parish centre. Will be holding their annual New Year Peace Service on Monday, 2nd January at 7.30pm.
This year we shall be sending crib offerings to Friends of the Holy Land. This will help the poorest Christian families, especially in and around Bethlehem, the West Bank, Gaza and Israel. FHL is non-political and ecumenical. Let’s keep our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land in your prayers at this time. The whole world knows that this feast is on and even those who do not share our faith seem to join in the festive season. Christmas is a time to remember loved ones and give thanks for the privilege of having them in our lives. At Midnight Mass we shall have a procession of light to honour and pay tribute to the most important people in our lives, living and dead. We ask that the light of the Infant King will be a beacon of welcome, hope and love in a very complex world. |
